A series of photos “Incredible” by Giuseppe Colarusso

Italian photographer Giuseppe Colarusso (Giuseppe Colarusso) in the series "Improbabilita '" reveals a new approach to objects and their intended purpose.

The talented Italian artist and photographer in the series of works “Improbabilita '” surprisingly transforms our everyday objects, taking into account the elements of surrealism and advertising. After numerous manipulations of Colarusso, we can observe the unexpected disclosure of other facets of things we need so much. In the unusual collection of Colarusso you can find things like a square rolling pin, a “fire extinguisher-pepper” and much more. And if some things seem completely useless to you, then you will probably be surprised to see that the photographer “breathed” new life into a number of objects, assigning them new functions.

Giuseppe took his first shot in 1985 with a makeshift camera. According to the photographer, he was the one who managed to create an unusual device so quickly and easily. To do this, he needed a shoe box, scissors and paper. He made a round hole in the cardboard of the box, and put the paper inside. That's how Colarusso got his first camera.

The artist says the following about his series of photographs “Improbabilita”: “I would call this collection something surreal, but close to real. This is a series of non-existent in reality items that are simply impossible to use.

My goal in creating it was to try to amuse people, to make them smile. ”Colarousso claims that he was prompted by an amazing idea from the ordinary things that surround us every day.

Almost everything in this world pushes the photographer to new ideas: according to him, he can draw inspiration from visiting new restaurants, communicating with loved ones, and even watching TV.

“I want people to stay by the photo for a moment and think about the importance of the things we use every day,” says the Italian. Colarusso does not deny that after familiarizing himself with his creation, many will seriously think about the alternative use of familiar kitchen and garden utensils, as well as office equipment.

A series of photographs of Giuseppe is really impressive. Despite the fact that he created most of the amazing things with the help of graphic editors, there are also units that he created with his own hands.

Each object deserves attention - two facets intertwine in it: in a thing, something indicates its immediate purpose, and something contradicts it. The artist, who demonstrated an excellent sense of humor and irony, was able to fully emphasize some aspects of everyday life. We are talking about things and objects that everyone should have, even considering that in fact they are absolutely useless.
